One day, I want to write a book. Possibly two or three. However, to make that a reality, I have to start with today. My gut feeling is that I cannot wake up one morning and start writing a book and expect that my writing will be worth reading - God did not bless me with the gift of beautiful, lyrical writing. Writing is something that I need to sit down and painstakingly craft word by word, edit, delete and add to. I hope to produce entries you look forward to reading.
Primarily a digital canvas for practising this craft of writing, this blog will help me explore thoughts and ideas. Some entries will be rough and ragged. Others written in bursts of inspiration - or anger. Hopefully, the majority carefully thought through and structured.
As a tree grows and changes over time, I am open to my thoughts doing likewise. My prayer is that I might be open to being wrong, and humble enough to be taught by those further along the path than I. Hence the name of this blog: Thoughts, not Convictions. As thoughts are open for discussion and sometimes change.
